Individual J-Term: Brookwood Day 11
Today was my final day at Brookwood, I can't believe it has already been 11 days! I have had such an incredible time, learning so much about special needs ministry and how God is working through this organization. I began the day with a special treat! The Rosenthal house was so unbelievably kind and made a special meal for my final day at Brookwood. Those were some of the best breakfast tacos I have ever had! After that amazing meal, I walked to the cafe and talked to various citizens along the way. Once I arrived at the Cafe I was introduced to Ms. Tammy, the Cafe supervisor, hearing more about the Cafe's mission. Then Ms. Janice walked me around the Cafe showing and telling me everything that one should know. I have never worked in a restaurant, but Ms. Janice did a great job explaining to me what I should do, at the same time spreading laughter and joy with every sentence.
